Western Union working with NBU on foreign currency transfers

KIEV, April 30 - Western Union Company is in talks on the payment of foreign currency transfers in hryvnias with the National Bank of Ukraine.

"A chance to receive money transfers in hryvnias is an important advantage for Western Union's clients in Ukraine. At present, the company is holding talks with the NBU to continue paying transfers in hryvnias," reads a company report.


Fitch assigns ‘B-‘ rating to DTEK Finance $500 million eurobond

LONDON, April 30 - Fitch Ratings has assigned DTEK Finance B.V.'s $500 million 9.5% five-year eurobond issue a foreign currency senior unsecured rating of 'B-' with a Recovery Rating of 'RR4'.

The agency said in a statement: "DTEK Finance B.V. is a finance vehicle for DTEK Holdings B.V., the Dutch ultimate holding company for the DTEK group, which consists of operating companies in the coal mining and power sector in Ukraine.


SPF signs confidential agreement with Luhanskteplovoz bidder

KIEV, April 30 – The State Property Fund has signed a confidential agreement with a fourth company that wants to bid in a tender to sell a 76.001% stake in OJSC Luhanskteplovoz Holding.

The fund said that the bidder is registered in a foreign state.

Market players say that Russia's Transmashholding is the most likely foreign bidder in the tender.


EC does not plan to take action on hydrocarbons in sunflower oil

BRUSSELS, April 30 – The European Commission does not plan to take any measures on the facts of the supply onto the EU market of Ukrainian-produced sunflower oil which contained particles of hydrocarbons, Michael Mann, an EC spokesperson for agriculture and rural development, said at a briefing in Brussels on Wednesday.
