EC expecting quick energy market reform, according to DTEK CEO

KIEV, June 3 – The key expectations of the European Commission towards Ukraine are linked to the quick reform of the energy market and the adoption of laws on the electricity market and the national regulator, as well as the continuation of the gas market reform, DTEK CEO Maksym Tymchenko said after a meeting with European Commission Vice President Maros Sefcovic this week in Brussels.


Exports of wheat to EU reported at 1.637 million tons this year

KIEV, June 3 – Ukraine has exported 1.637 million tons of wheat to the European Union since the start of the current agricultural year (July 2015 – June 2016), Ukrainian Trade Representative Natalia Mykolska wrote on her Facebook page.

Cabinet to set local content requirements for auto manufacturers

KIEV, June 3 - The Cabinet of Ministers intends in the near future to set requirements to ensure a certain degree of car production localization if car industry enterprises want to get benefits on imports of components and equipment for the modernization of production, First Deputy head of the State Agency for State Corporate Rights and Property Management Oleksandr Kalenkov said.
