Ukraine’s Epicenter K expands grain storage operation

KYIV, Nov 5 – The agricultural division of the Epicenter K Group has launched two new silos and expanded the capacities of two more silos in Vinnytsia and Khmelnytsky regions and the number of own silos grew from six to eight and their total storage capacities expanded to over 800,000 tons.

DTEK Energo denies accusations that company finances terrorism

KIEV, Nov. 5 – DTEK energy holding has denied accusations that the company finances terrorism.

"DTEK carried out and is carrying out operations only under Ukrainian law. The company does not have contract relations with companies registered in territory that is not under the control of Ukraine, and accusations of financing terrorists by the company are groundless," DTEK Energo told Interfax-Ukraine.


Hit by war, markets, Ukraine ferrous metals export revenues down 38.2%

KIEV, Nov. 5 – Hit hard by both war and an unfavorable commodities market, Ukrainian metal companies saw a decline of 38.2% in foreign currency revenues from exports of ferrous metals in January-October 2015 year-over-year, to $6.971 billion.


NBU improves estimate of Ukraine's GDP decline to 7%, from 9%

KIEV, Nov. 4 – The National Bank of Ukraine has improved its estimate of gross domestic product dynamics in 2014 from a fall of 9% to a decline of 7%, NBU head Valeriya Gontareva told reporters.


Ukrainian natural gas imports through Oct. 31 reported above target

KIEV, Nov. 4 – Ukraine imported around 1.725 billion cubic meters of gas in January-October 2013, exceeding the target for imports from Europe (1.3 billion cubic meters), according to data of the online monitoring of gas transport system operators from Hungary and Poland - FGSZ Ltd, Gaz-System S.A.
