VitAgro to produce biomethane, bioethanol; process corn and soybeans

LUGANO, June 5 – The VitAgro group of companies, a large Ukrainian agro-industrial group, has chosen the production of biomethane and bioethanol, as well as the deep processing of corn and soybeans, as new strategic initiatives, said Serhiy Savchuk, the investment and business development director.


EU’s ban on imports of Ukrainian grain extended through Sept. 15

KYIV, June 5 – The ban on the export of wheat, barley, rapeseed and sunflower seeds from Ukraine to Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria, introduced on May 2 for the period until June 5, will be extended until September 15, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland Robert Telus said.
