Ukraine??™s oil shipper to buy crude oil for state gasoline reserves
KIEV, May 7 - Ukraine??™s oil shipping monopoly UkrTransNafta plans to buy 200,000 metric tons of crude oil within the next two months in order to increase the country??™s reserves of petroleum products, Energy and Fuel Minister Yuriy Boyko said Monday.
The oil will be purchased from Russia and will be refined in May and June at Linos, a Ukrainian oil refinery owned by Russian oil major TNK-BP, according to source at the ministry. |
Ukrainian specialists demined 26,500 hectares of farming land in March
KYIV, April 4 – In March, bomb disposal engineer units of governmental and non-governmental operators of Ukraine examined more than 26,500 hectares of agricultural land and returned almost 23,500 hectares to economic use, reported First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko with reference to data from regional military administrations. |
Ukraine, Poland to test Lublin-Rava-Ruska European track railway route
KYIV, April 6 – On April 5, Ukrainian and Polish railway workers are jointly conducting a test trip along the route Lublin - Rava-Ruska on the 1,435 mm European track, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Oleksandr Kubrakov has said.
