Ukrnafta seeks to take over Russia’s Tatneft Group assets in Ukraine

KYIV, May 7 – PJSC Ukrnafta together with the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) applied to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) with a statement regarding obtaining permission for concentration in order to begin fully manage the assets of Tatneft Group.


Naftogaz accumulated UAH 64.1-bln in cash on its accounts, Kobolev says

KYIV, May 6 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny has UAH 7 billion, $1.74 billion and EUR 340 million on its accounts, Naftogaz Ukrayiny Executive Board Chairman Andriy Kobolev said.

"In total, at the current rate, these funds amount to UAH 64.1 billion. Thus, at any time when a shareholder decides to pay dividends or receive funds in another way, these funds can be transferred to the national budget to finance programs," he said at a government meeting on Wednesday.


Ukraine’s forex reserves grow 3.1% to $25.69-bln in April, NBU reports

KYIV, May 7 – Ukraine's foreign exchange reserves in April tentatively grew by 3.1% or $800 million, to $25.69 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) said on its website on Thursday.

"Transactions of the National Bank to manage reserves and transactions on the FX market first of all contributed to the increase in FX reserves," the central bank said.

Ukraine increases natural gas imports 60% on year in January-April

KYIV, May 6 – Ukraine increased natural gas by 60% on the year, or by 1.5 billion cubic meters, in January-April, to 3.9 billion cubic meters, according to a statement by Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU).

Ukraine International Airlines expands fleet with second Boeing 777-200ER

KYIV, May 4 – Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) on May 4 expanded its fleet with second long haul widebody Boeing 777-200ER plane.

The press service of the airline reported that it was officially registered in Ukraine under the UR-GOB registration number.
