Bankers see hryvnia strengthening in short term, poll finds
KYIV, July 4 – The hryvnia will continue strengthening in the short term, according to bankers polled by Interfax-Ukraine.

Naftogaz chief: Arbitration and contract results expected this year
KIEV, July 7 – Hearings by the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce in litigation between national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrayiny and Russia's OJSC Gazprom over the natural gas supply and transit contracts signed early 2009 will start late September and late November or early December, respectively, Naftogaz Ukrayiny Chairman Andriy Kobolev said. |
ISD resumes steelmaking at Polish subsidiary after seven-month idle

Energoatom resumes payments to Russia's TVEL for nuclear fuel
MOSCOW, July 7 – Energoatom has resumed payments to TVEL for fresh nuclear fuel, a source in TVEL has told Interfax.
Late June TVEL Vice President Alexei Grigoryev told reporters that TVEL continues supplies of fuel to Ukrainian nuclear power plants, while the company does not pay for it. |
