Bankers see hryvnia strengthening in short term, poll finds

KYIV, July 4 – The hryvnia will continue strengthening in the short term, according to bankers polled by Interfax-Ukraine.

"It is likely that soon we will see UAH 25.5 per $1," senior analyst at Raiffeisen Bank Aval Mykhailo Rebryk has said.

ISD resumes steelmaking at Polish subsidiary after seven-month idle

KIEV, July 7 - Huta Stali Czestochowa steel works (Poland) belonging to Industrial Union of Donbas (ISD) via subsidiary ISD Polska on June 1 resumed electric furnace steelmaking after the idle period started on November 2015 due to the stoppage of slab suppliers from Alchevsk Steel Works.


Energoatom resumes payments to Russia's TVEL for nuclear fuel

MOSCOW, July 7 – Energoatom has resumed payments to TVEL for fresh nuclear fuel, a source in TVEL has told Interfax.

Late June TVEL Vice President Alexei Grigoryev told reporters that TVEL continues supplies of fuel to Ukrainian nuclear power plants, while the company does not pay for it.
