GM, UkrAvto plan $500 million car making joint venture in Poland

WARSAW, Nov. 7 - Ukrainian Automobile Corporation, or UkrAuto, and General Motors Corp. (GM) plan to set up a joint venture at the Polish plant Fabryk? Samochodow Osobowych (FSO), an UkrAuto owner said Tuesday.


Ukrainian population buys excess $458.4m more foreign currency

KIEV, Nov. 6 - The Ukrainian population purchased $458.4 million more foreign currency than it sold in October, while in September the public purchased $196.2 million more, the National Bank of Ukraine said in a posting on its official Web site last week.


Ukraine steel mills obtain licenses to ship 90% of rolled steel quota

DTEK Renewables boosts net profit to UAH 1.39-bln in H1 vs. UAH 179-mln

KYIV, Oct 7 – DTEK Renewables Holding reported a consolidated net profit of UAH 1.397 billion in the first half of 2024, a staggering 7.1 times increase from UAH 179 million in the same period of 2023. According to the company's stock exchange report, consolidated revenue rose by 67.9%, reaching UAH 3.001 billion, while gross profit more than doubled to UAH 2.867 billion, up from UAH 1.220 billion in H1 2023.
