KIEV, March 4 - A group of Ukrainian lawmakers submitted to the Constitutional Court an appeal seeking to reverse the transfer of 43% stake in the country's largest oil refinery to the state oil and gas company.

Ukraine receives 10th ship loaded with coal since November 2021

KYIV, Feb 7 – From late November 2021, the tenth vessel with imported coal contracted by DTEK has arrived in Ukraine, the company said in its press service on Monday.

According to it, a Panamax-class vessel has moored in the TIS port, some 45,000 tons of coal from Colombia will replenish the warehouses of DTEK Energy's thermal power plant (TPP) in the coming days.


Ukraine’s natural gas transit drops 56.5% on year in January

KYIV, Feb 7 – Transit of natural gas through the gas transmission system (GTS) of Ukraine in January 2022 amounted to 1.664 billion cubic meters, down 56.5% on the year, Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU) said.


Ukraine’s Security Service seeks science academy’s advice on technology

KYIV, Feb 7 – The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences have agreed on cooperation and coordination of activities in the interests of state security.

According to the press service of the SBU on Monday, the memorandum was signed by head of the special service Ivan Bakanov and president of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Anatoliy Zahorodniy.


Ukraine’s poultry exports up 29% on year to $716-mln in 2021

KYIV, Feb 7 – Ukraine last year received a record $716 million in export earnings from the sale of 459,000 tons of chicken meat, which is 29% higher than in 2020, while total revenue from the export of meat and offal increased by 30%, to $846 million.
