Ukraine’s economy to expand 3.8% in 2022 in government’s baseline scenario

KYIV, June 3 - The government has approved the forecast of economic and social growth of Ukraine for the next three years, according to which GDP growth under the baseline scenario is expected at 3.8% in 2022, 4.7% in 2023 and 5% in 2024, the Ministry of Economy reported on the website.


Bill to negatively impact Ukrainian lubricant industry, executives warn

KYIV, June 5 – A group of Democratic and Republican senators, including Ted Cruz, Jeanne Shaheen, John Barrasso, with the support of Tom Cotton and Ron Johnson, submitted a bipartisan bill to the U.S. Senate to expand sanctions against the construction of Nord Stream 2 pipeline, Interfax-Ukraine reported.


Ukraine’s forex reserves up 3% on month to $17.62-bil as of early June

KIEV, June 6 - Ukraine's international reserves at the beginning of June amounted to $17.62 billion, which is 3% more than a month earlier, the relevant preliminary data have been posted on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

Ukraine’s economy to expand 3.5% on year in 2018, World Bank says

KIEV, June 6 – Ukraine’s economy will expand 3.5% on the year in 2018, up from 3% growth seen earlier, the World Bank reported Tuesday.

The growth will continue to accelerate to 4% in 2019, up from 3% seen earlier, the bank said.
