Ukreximbank bank noteholders agree to $1.5 billion 7yr debt extension

KIEV, July 8 – Ukreximbank has secured the agreement of the majority of its noteholders to reprofile debts worth $1.475 billion in total for another seven years.


2 large Ukraine banks ask Moscow to compensate them for Crimean losses

KIEV, July 8 - Two of Ukraine's largest banks - Privatbank and state-owned Oschadbank - have asked Moscow to compensate them for losses resulting from Russia's annexation of the Crimea peninsula from Ukraine last year, Reuters reported on Wednesday.


Moscow City Court upholds seizure of Poroshenko-owned facility

MOSCOW, July 6 - The Moscow City Court has declared that the arrest of property worth RUR1.5 billion of Roshen Confectionery Corporation, owned by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, at OAO Lipetsk confectionery factory Roshen, was lawful.


NBU reports 3.5% increase in reserves last month, to $10.2 billion

KIEV, July 7 - The National Bank of Ukraine in June increased international reserves by $346 million, or 3.5%, to $10.264 billion, the central bank announced.

Ukraine exported weapons to 19 countries in 2014, government reports

KIEV, July 8 – In 2014, Ukraine exported ordinary weaponry to 19 countries according to a report by the State Export Control Service.

According to the report, in 2014 Ukraine exported 51 units of equipment including 23 T-82 tanks, 28 armored vehicles, 15 aircraft including 8 helicopters and 6 fighter aircraft, one "Bison" air cushioned landing craft, 18 rocket launchers and over 27,000 firearms.


Ukraine's foreign currency reserves shrank 16% last month, NBU reports

KIEV, July 7 – Ukraine's forex reserves narrowed by 4.6% in June, to $17.083 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine reported.

According to the report, in H1, forex reserves shrank by 16.3%, from $20.416 billion.


ICAO confirms its position on Crimea's status within Ukraine

KIEV, July 7 – The International Civil Aviation Organization has confirmed its position and the organization still believes Crimea is part of Ukraine, while the zone of the Black Sea was delegated to Ukraine and it has remained under the management of Ukraine, Denys Antoniuk, head of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine wrote on his Facebook page.


Cash outflow from Ukrainian banks has stopped, says NBU governor

LONDON, July 7 – The outflow of deposits from Ukrainian banks, which was a serious problem early this year, has stopped, although the task of reforming the banking system is still urgent, National Bank of Ukraine Governor Valeriya Gontareva said.


Milkiland-Ukraine critical of Russian ban on Ukraine dairy products
