Ukraine’s sales of children's goods, pet products growing steadily
KYIV, July 30 – Sales volumes of children's goods, pet products, and goods for active recreation and gardening show a stable growth trend compared to pre-war figures, even amid the overall decline in consumer activity in Ukraine, Epicenter's Director of Retail Dmytro Tanko said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

Key entrepreneur council to discuss controversial bill aimed at hiking taxes
KYIV, July 30 – The Council for Supporting Entrepreneurship under Martial Law at the President of Ukraine (the Council of Seven) will discuss the issues related to bill No. 11416 on tax increases at a special meeting on July 31, which the government plans to use to raise the budget by UAH 125 billion this year and UAH 341.9 billion next year, as announced by Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak.

Ukraine ready to join EU consultations regarding suspension of Lukoil transit
KYIV, July 30 – Ukraine confirms its readiness to join the European Union (EU) consultations regarding the suspension of transit of Russian LUKOIL oil due to the company being added to the sanctions list, should the European Commission (EC) decide to proceed, said Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Heorhiy Tykhy.

Ukraine places $2-bln 2033 Eurobond yielding 7.253%: Finance Ministry
KYIV, July 30 – On 30 July, Ukraine announced the successful settlement of its new $2 billion 7.253% eurobond due 2033 (the Notes), as well as the completion of the switch tender offer in relation to its outstanding U.S. dollar-denominated 7.75% senior notes due 2021 and U.S. dollar-denominated 7.75% senior notes due 2022.

UIA reports $60-mln in losses due to coronavirus shutdown
KYIV, July 30 – Ukraine International Airlines saw $60 million in losses due to the temporary suspension of its activities during lockdown and has to gradually lay off 900 employees, the UIA press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.
