Ukraine’s industrial prices drop 0.6% in July, statistics service

KYIV, Aug 9 - Industrial prices in Ukraine in July 2017 decreased by 0.6%, the State Statistics Service has said. The prices also fell 0.6% in June and 1.3% in May, after rising 1.6% in April by 1.6% and 3.5% in March.


Ukraine’s consumer inflation slows down to 0.2% in July, govt reports

KYIV, Aug 9 – Ukraine’s monthly consumer inflation slowed down to 0.2% in July 2017 from 1.6% in June, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported Wednesday. Inflation was reported at 1.3% in May and 0.9% in April.

Managers of largest Ukraine bank call embezzlement charges groundless

KIEV, Aug. 9 – The largest bank in Ukraine – PrivatBank (Dnipro) – believes that accusations of embezzling over UAH 19 billion of refinancing funds issued by the National Bank of Ukraine against some managers of the bank are groundless, the bank told Interfax-Ukraine.
