Consumption rise prompts decrease in grain export forecast
KIEV, May 6 - The Agriculture Ministry forecasts a decline in grain exports in the 2005/2006 marketing year (June 2005 through July 2006) year-over-year because of an increase in domestic consumption of grain, a lower harvest, and a decline in the hryvnia/dollar forex rate. |
Ukraine seeks new ways for grain exports after farmer protest in Poland
KYIV, April 10 – Ukraine hopes to compensate for the suspension of grain exports to Poland by increasing transit according to new rules that will be agreed within the next week and approved on Friday at a regular meeting on the Ukrainian-Polish border, Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Mykola Solsky said.

Ukraine cuts 2019 electricity exports by 2.5% to 6.01-bln kWh
KYIV, April 10 – Ukraine in 2019 could cut electricity exports by 2.5% or 154 million kWh compared with 2018, to 6.011 billion kWh, according to the updated projected balance of electricity posted by the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry of Ukraine. |
