Kyivvodokanal says lack of liquid chlorine may prevent disinfection of water
KYIV, July 9 – Kyivvodokanal has said lack of production of liquid chlorine at JSC Dniproazot may prevent disinfection of drinking water.
"In the middle of June, Dniproazot, which is a producer of liquid chlorine used by water services companies to disinfect drinking water, warned that it was stopping supplies and stopping the production of liquid chlorine. |
Naftogaz files $11.6-bln lawsuit against Gazprom to hike shipment tariffs
KYIV, July 9 - Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the national energy company, sued Gazprom to force the Russian company pay higher tariffs for gas shipments via its gas pipeline system in 2018-2019, a senior Naftogaz official said Saturday.
The lawsuit was filed with the Stockholm court of arbitration and is estimated by Naftogaz at $11.6 billion without adding interest rate charges. |
Norway's Scatec to build 47-MW solar power stations in Mykolaiv

Moody's raises outlook for Ukraine's banking system to positive
KYIV, July 9 – Moody's Investors Service has raised its outlook for Ukraine's banking system to positive from stable, reflecting the rating agency's expectation that the creditworthiness of the country's banks will improve over the next 12 to 18 months, driven by improving asset quality and a return to profitability. |
