Naftogaz strengthens geological unit to focus on hydrocarbons
KYIV, Sept 9 - Naftogaz plans to focus its efforts on the growth of new hydrocarbon resources and, for this purpose increases the role of the geological unit, the director of the Exploration and Production division of the group, Oleksandr Romaniuk, said.

Metinvest’s revenue up 0.5% on month in June to $847-mln
KYIV, Sept 9 – Revenue of Metinvest B.V. (Netherlands), the parent company of the Metinvest mining and metallurgical group, in June 2020 increased 0.5%, or by $4 million compared to the previous month, to $847 million from $843 million.

Ukraine’s consumer prices drop 0.2% on month in August
KYIV, Sept 9 - Consumer prices in Ukraine in August 2020 decreased by 0.2% after falling by 0.6% in July and growing by 0.2% in June, 0.3% in May and 0.8% in April and March, the State Statistics Service has reported.

Ukrgazvydobuvannia to reduce natural gas output in 2020
KYIV, Sept 10 – By the end of 2020, Ukrgazvydobuvannia will slightly reduce the production of natural gas, almost keep it at last year's level, Director of the Exploration and Production division of the Naftogaz Group Oleksandr Romanyuk said.

Ukraine’s oil transit shipments drop 4.5% on year in Jan-Aug
KYIV, Sept 7 - Transit shipments of crude oil by pipelines through the territory of Ukraine to European countries in January-August 2018 decreased by 4.5%, or 409,500 tons, compared to the same period in 2017, to 8.692 million tons, PJSC Ukrtransnafta has said. |
Kyiv City Council completes foreign debt restructuring, official says
KYIV, Sept 7 - Kyiv City Council on September 4 completed the restructuring of its outstanding foreign debt by exchanging eurobonds with a yield of 8% and maturing in 2015 (2015 eurobonds) with a total nominal value of $101.149 million for new loan participation notes (LPN) falling due on December 15, 2022, with a yield of 7.5%, the city administration's press service said, citing First Deputy Head of Kyiv State City Administration Mykola Povoroznyk. |
