World Bank announces $454-mln support package for Ukraine’s healthcare

KYIV, Dec 10 – The World Bank on Tuesday announced a new support package for Ukraine in the amount of $454 million for the Transforming Healthcare through Reform and Investments in Efficiency (THRIVE) project, the bank said in a statement.


FUIB lends OKKO Group for $1.5-bln for GORO mountain resort project

KYIV, Dec 10 – The First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB, Kyiv) provided OKKO Group with a 10-year loan for the construction of the first stage of the GORO Mountain Resort recreational project, the cost of which is estimated at $1.5 billion, of which OKKO plans to finance $500 million from its own and credit funds, and $1 billion from other investors.


Ukraine to export 50-mln mt of grain, oilseeds in 2023-2024 season: UGA

KYIV, Dec 6 – Ukraine will be able to export 50 million tons of grain and oilseeds from the 2023 harvest, as well as about 10 million tons of vegetable oils and meal, to world markets, Mykola Horbachev, president of the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA), has said.

KYIV, Dec 6 – Ukraine’s forex reserves, according to preliminary data, in November decreased by $187.8 million, or 0.5%, to $38.785 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) reported.


Ukrzaliznytsia carries record cargo in November as shipments increase

KYIV, Dec 7 – Ukrzaliznytsia transported a record volume of cargo in November 2023 - 14.13 million tons, which is 33.8% more than the average monthly transportation volume during the year, said Valeriy Tkachev, deputy director of the department of commercial work of Ukrzaliznytsia, at a meeting with agricultural exporters on Thursday.


IMF to decide on $880-mln EFF loan for Ukraine

KYIV, Dec 7 – On December 11, the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will consider the issue of second review under the extended Arrangement under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) for Ukraine and the third disbursement of SDR 664 million (about $880 million at the current exchange rate).


Ukraine raises rate to 9% as inflation and Russia conflict risks weigh
