Ukrainian textile industry can secure clothing supplies to army after attack

KYIV, Jan 10 – The Ukrainian textile industry has every opportunity to provide all Ukrainian military troops – participants in the defense sector – with clothing, Director General of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine Ruslan Illichov said at the press conference "Light industry is for transparent procurement" at Interfax-Ukraine.


Ukraine’s Ukrzaliznytsia boosts railroad shipments 34% on year in 2023

KYIV, Jan 10 – JSC Ukrzaliznytsia transported 201,260 twenty-foot containers (TEU) in 2023, which is 34% more than in 2022 and corresponds to the indicators of the 2019 pre-war year, Deputy Director of the company's commercial work department Valeriy Tkachev said on Wednesday at a meeting on the development of intermodal transport.


Ukraine’s inflation decelerates to 5.1% in 2023 vs. 26.6% in 2022

Ukraine’s forex reserves up 1.9% on month at $28.49-bln

KYIV, Jan 9 – As of January 1, 2023, according to preliminary data, Ukraine's international reserves amounted to $28.49 billion, which is 1.9% or $536.4 million more compared to November 2022 due to foreign exchange earnings from international partners, which exceeded the interventions of the NBU on the sale of foreign currency to support the fixed exchange rate.


Gazprom reduces 27.7% on month natural gas transit via Ukraine

KYIV, Jan 6 – Russia's Gazprom reduced gas transit through Ukraine 27.7% to about 130 million cubic meters/day early January from 180 million cubic meters/day in December, Head of Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine LLC (GTSOU) Serhiy Makogon said.
