Ukrainian banks see weakening demand for loans in April-June

KYIV, July 26 – In April-June 2022, Ukrainian banks noted an increase in the negative impact of the war on lending indicators, however, they expect a moderate resumption of demand for loans and an increase in all types of risks, according to the results of a quarterly survey of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on bank lending conditions.


Energoatom may operate all 15 nuclear power units next winter

Ukraine’s imports of travel services to grow 50% in 2021, NBU official says

KYIV, July 27 – Travel services imports, which fell sharply in 2020 due to the pandemic, will grow by almost 50% this year, to almost $7 billion, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Yuriy Heletiy said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
