Donetsk coal mine to sell carbon dioxide worth ?2.5m under Kyoto ryle

KIEV, Sept. 11 ??“ Zasyadko coalmine in Donetsk region has sold to Austria and Japan carbon dioxide emission quotas worth ?2.5 million under the terms of the Kyoto protocol, Coal Minister Serhiy Tulub announced.

Ukraine’s money supply up 2.2% in July after growing 2.6% in June

KYIV, Aug 10 – Money supply (aggregate M3) in Ukraine after growing by 2.6% in June in July added another 2.2%, or UAH 59.5 billion, and reached UAH 2.788 trillion, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has reported.

According to the data on its website, the growth of deposits in July slowed down to 2.3% from 2.8% in June and was again provided mainly by hryvnia deposits, which, after increasing by 3.7% in June, increased by 3%, or UAH 45.7 billion in July, to UAH 1.42 trillion.


SPF rules out supplies of Ukrainian titanium ore to Russia

KYIV, Aug 10 – The State Property Fund (SPF) of Ukraine points out the impossibility of supplying titanium ore to the aggressor country by PJSC United Mining and Chemical Company (UMCC), under whose management the Vilnohirsk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (Dnipropetrovsk Region) and the Irshansk Mining and Processing Plant (Zhytomyr region) were transferred, due to strict verification of contracts at different levels.


EBRD agrees to lend EUR 60-mln to PrivatBank to back small business loans

KYIV, Aug 10 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) signed a loan agreement for EUR 60 million with the state-owned PrivatBank and agreed to take up to 50% of the credit risk on newly issued loans to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) of PrivatBank (Kyiv) for a total amount of up to EUR 240 million.


Ukraine’s agriculture exports drop 7% on year to $10.1-bln in Jan-Jun

KYIV, Aug 10 - Exports of Ukrainian agri-food products in January-June 2022 amounted to $10.11 billion, which is 7% less than in January-June 2021, according to the website of the Institute of Agrarian Economics (IAE).


S&P lowers Ukrzaliznytsia’s long-term credit rating of to 'CCC-' from 'CCC'

KYIV, Aug 10 – S&P lowered its long-term issuer credit rating on Ukrzaliznytsia to 'CCC-' from 'CCC', the agency said on its website.

"We lowered our long-term issuer credit rating on Ukrzaliznytsia to 'CCC-' from 'CCC'. We removed all ratings from CreditWatch with negative implications, where we placed them on June 1, 2022," it said.
