KIEV, Aug. 26 – Ukraine's Economic Development and Trade Ministry and China's Ministry of Commerce have made arrangements concerning mutual understanding in application of international trade safeguards tools.

Donetsk region metallurgy plant suffers damage after shelling

KIEV, Aug. 26 - The Yenakiyeve Metallurgy Plant in Donetsk region affiliated with the Metinvest group, suffered significant damage after being shelled, with its lime kiln and fire resistant facilities put out of operation, and significant damage has been caused to the converter and utilities plants and the railway transport department.


Crimean official threatens bankruptcy proceedings against Activ Solar

Customs Union slaps protective duty on chinaware from Ukraine

KIEV, Aug. 28 – A special protective duty will be imposed on supplies of chinaware to the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, including from Ukraine, starting September 29, at $1,479 per ton in the first year of its effect.


Finance ministry sells $101.94 billion of 15-year bonds at 7.75%

KIEV, Aug. 28 – The Finance Ministry at an off-schedule auction on August 27, 2013 set the interest rate for 15-month government domestic loan bonds pegged to the U.S. dollars at 7.75%, which allowed the ministry to raise $101.94 million.
