KYIV, Dec 7 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), which recently reduced the period for returning foreign currency earnings of agricultural exporters from 180 to 90 days, will continue to counteract shadow exports and fight non-return of foreign currency earnings, including by building new relations with the State Tax Service and State Customs Service, said Governor of the NBU Andriy Pyshnyy.

KYIV, Dec 10 – Ukraine as of December 10 had threshed 75.2 million tons of grain and leguminous crops from 15.2 million hectares (ha) with the average yield being 4.95 tons/ha, which is higher than the entire grain harvest for 2018 when it was 70.1 million tons.


Norway’s Scatec postpones 65-MW solar power project in Ukraine

KYIV, Dec 10 – Norway's Scatec Solar has suspended a project to build a solar power plant with a capacity of 65 MW in Kherson region over the possible reduction of the terms of preliminary power purchase agreements (pre-PPA), Scatec Solar Manager for Business Development in Ukraine Alina Sviderska told Interfax-Ukraine after a meeting of the Fuel & Energy Committee of the European Business Association (EBA).
