Analyst: Naftogaz eurobond price rises 3% due to govt guarantee

KIEV, Jan. 11 - The price of Naftogaz Ukrayiny eurobonds has grown by 3% due to the granting of government guarantees worth UAH12 billion ($2.4 billion) on the company's foreign debt, according to an analysis drawn up by the analyst of Troika Dialog Ukraine Investment Company, Naria Maiboroda.

KYIV, Dec 11 – The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has increased its forecast for Ukrainian wheat exports in the 2024/2025 marketing year (July 2024 to June 2025) by 0.5 million tons to 16.5 million tons and revised the country’s corn production estimate upward by 0.3 million tons to 26.5 million tons.


Ukrainian companies cut steel consumption 7.95% year-on-year in Jan–Nov

KYIV, Dec 11 – Ukrainian enterprises reduced steel consumption by 7.95% year-on-year in January–November 2024, down to 2.996 million tons. According to a press release by Ukrmetalurgprom on Wednesday, imports during this period amounted to 1.136 million tons, representing 37.91% of the domestic steel market.


Ukraine soon to receive power unit from the Estonian Auvere power plant

KYIV, Dec 11 – The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine expects that in the near future Ukraine will receive a power unit from the Estonian Auvere power plant, capable of providing electricity to 150,000 people, the department reported on Wednesday.
