Polish company to help with Ukrainian oil and gas extraction
KIEV, Oct. 13 - Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A. (PGNiG) is ready to invest in the extraction of oil and gas in Ukraine and to help the national Naftogaz Ukrainy enter the Polish market, its board chairman Marek Kossowski told the InvestGazeta Ukrainian weekly on Oct. 11. |
Ukraine loads Westinghouse fuel into VVER-440 unit at Rivne NPP
Ukraine for the first time loaded Westinghouse nuclear fuel into the VVER-440 reactor of one of its nuclear power plant units. The fuel loading took place with the participation of Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko, Energoatom President Petro Kotin, Westinghouse President Patrick Fragman and Swedish Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Åberg.

Ukraine’s economy to expand 4% on year in 2023, minister says
KYIV, Sept 11 – The Ministry of Economy has raised the growth forecast for Ukraine's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2023 to 4%, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko said in Kyiv on Saturday at the annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy, organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

Naftogaz chief says Ukraine can operate without Russian natural gas
KYIV, Sept 13 – Ukraine has not been buying Russian gas for a long time, and the country's gas transmission system can operate without its transit, Yuriy Vitrenko, CEO of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, told Interfax-Ukraine on the sidelines of the 17th YES Annual Meeting held by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation at the end of last week in Kyiv.
