Ukrainian steelmakers may be hit by U.S. anti-dumping measures
KYIV, Jan 10 – U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross has expressed his satisfaction with the final determinations in the anti-dumping duty investigations of imports of carbon and alloy steel wire rod (wire rod) from South Africa and Ukraine, which will allow protecting U.S. producers. |
South-Ukrainian NPP reactor No 3 cuts output after mail pump shuts down
KYIV, Jan 12 - Reactor No. 3 of South-Ukrainian nuclear power plant (NPP) automatically reduced output to 590 MW at 22:45 local time on January 11 as a result of the shutdown of main circulation pump No. 1 by the automatic protection system, the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine reported on its website. |
UniCredit Group and ABH Holdings acquire Ukrsotsbank in share deal
KIEV, Jan. 11 – UniCredit Group (UCG) and ABH Holdings S.A. (ABHH), which indirectly owns 100% of shares in Alfa-Bank Ukraine via the holding company ABH Ukraine Limited, have signed an agreement for the transfer of 100% of Ukrsotsbank, or USB, (UCG's bank in Ukraine) in exchange for a minority 9.9% stake in ABHH, Alfa-Bank said in a press release on Monday. |
Germany's Bosch to forego expansion in Eastern Europe, CEO says
KIEV, Jan. 13 - Bosch (Stuttgart, Germany), one of the leading auto parts and industrial equipment producers in the world, does not plan to build new plants in the Eastern region (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Central Asia and Caucasus) in the coming three or five years, including in Ukraine, Representative of the Bosch Group for the region and Robert Bosch CEO (Moscow, Russia) Gerhard Pfeifer said. |
