Bogdan Motors, France's Bluebus to produce bodies for electric buses

KYIV, Jan 11 – Bogdan Motors, uniting industrial assets of the Bogdan Corporation, has signed a new contract with France's Bluebus to produce bodies for electric buses, Spokesperson of the corporation Serhiy Krasulia has told Interfax-Ukraine.


NBU may reduce or cancel mandatory foreign currency earnings sale

KYIV, Jan 11 - The National Bank (NBU) could in the near future reduce the rate of mandatory sale of foreign currency earnings for exporters from 50% to 30% or cancel it completely, Deputy Governor of the NBU Oleg Churiy has said.


U.S.-based Western Services Corp., Energoatom sign $2.3-mln simulator equipment deal

Court in Amsterdam rules to freeze Akhmetov’s Metinvest, DTEK assets

KYIV, Jan 10 – A court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has ruled to freeze Netherlands-registered Metinvest and DTEK, which belong to Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov's SCM Holdings and SCM Capital, as part of measures in a legal dispute with Cyprus-based firm Raga, which says SCM has not paid it in full for the 2013 sale of telecoms group Ukrtelecom.

KYIV, Jan 10 - Negotiations with Irish low-cost airline company Ryanair regarding its access to the Ukrainian market are in the final stage, Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan said, adding they will be successfully completed in January-February.


Rosneft sells gasoline filling station chain in Ukraine

MOSCOW, Jan 10 - Rosneft has sold its network of fuel filling stations in Ukraine, according to the Russian oil company's list of affiliates.

A number of Rosneft subsidiaries were removed from the list in Q4, 2017 in connection with the sale. They include RN-Kart Ukraina LLC, TNK-Industries Ukraine, Aviation Fuel Company LLC and Glusco Retail LLC.


Poland’s PGNiG doubles natural gas supplies to Ukraine in 2017

KYIV, Jan 10 - Industrial prices in Ukraine in 2017 increased by 16.5% against 35.7% in 2016, 25.4% in 2015, and 31.7% in 2014, the State Statistics Service said on Tuesday.
