UkrGaz-Energo charges law enforcers block tax money to pressure co
KIEV, April 13 – Ukrainian law enforcement authorities have resumed pressure on the business of UkrGaz-Energo (Kiev) and are trying to block the return of UAH 600 million of advance payments earlier transferred to the State Tax Service, to the company, the company has claimed. |
Industry trade group warns of sunflower oil producer stoppage
KIEV, April 11 – The Ukroliyaprom Association, which unites sunflower oil companies of Ukraine, has said that most domestic sunflower oil producers could stop if sunflower oil export quotas are distributed according to a procedure approved by the cabinet. |

Norwegian phone company vows to fight forced acquisition by VimpelCom
OSLO, April 13 - Telenor ASA, the Norwegian phone company, said Wednesday it will fight what it sees as ???an illegally arrange???' effort to force an acquisition in Ukraine on to OAO VimpelCom, the Russian mobile phone company, in which it holds 26.6% of voting shares, a news agency reported. |
