KYIV, April 10 – S&P Global Ratings has lowered its long-term issuer credit rating on Ukrzaliznytsia to 'CCC' from 'B-', S&P said in a press release.

"We now view Ukrzaliznytsia's liquidity as weak, because we believe that COVID-19-related challenges could limit its access to capital markets and affect its ability to generate cash flow from operations," S&P said.


Ukraine’s power consumption drops 5.6% on year in January-March

KYIV, April 13 – Power consumption in Ukraine in January-March 2020, taking into account in-process losses in power grids, fell by 5.6% (by 2.366 billion kWh) compared to January-March 2019, to 39.644 billion kWh, the Ministry of Energy and Environment Protection has told Interfax-Ukraine.
