Government to borrow UAH15 billion for housing and utility projects
KIEV, May 14 – The Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Economy Ministry today discussed investment projects in the housing and utilities and regional development areas with the possibility of raising some UAH 15 billion from international financial organizations, Minister Hennadiy Temnyk said. |

Cabinet action raises price of natural gas for most end users
KIEV, May 13 - As a result of the actions of the Cabinet, the price of natural gas for most end users in Ukraine's industry and comparable consumers will rise to UAH1,476.71 for 1,000 cubic meters as of June 1, clearing the psychological barrier of $300 for 1,000 cubic meters. |
Boryspil Airport passenger terminal to be completed by late 2010
KIEV, May 14 – The construction of a passenger terminal at Boryspil State International Airport will be completed by late 2010, according to a plan designed by air company AeroSvit-Ukrainian Airlines, said Transport and Communications Minister Yosyp Vinsky. |
Fitch revises Ukraine outlook down to Stable, from Positive
LONDON, May 14 - Fitch Ratings announced it has revised Ukraine's Outlooks to Stable from Positive.
Ukraine's Long-term foreign and local Issuer Default Ratings (IDR) are affirmed at 'BB-' (BB minus). The Country Ceiling is affirmed at 'BB-' (BB minus) and the Short-term foreign currency IDR at 'B'. |
