Trilateral Contact Group discusses Mytytivka-Mayorsk railway demining

Government proposes tax breaks for energy saving equipment imports
KIEV, July 14 – Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has proposed starting January 1, 2017 to exempt from imports duty and value added tax (VAT) for energy saving equipment and materials that are not made in Ukraine imported to the country for own needs is annulled via amending the Tax and Customs Codes. |
Ukraine's monetary base rose 0.2% last month, according to NBU
KIEV, July 13 - The monetary base in Ukraine grew by 0.2% in June, to UAH 330.4 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine reported.
Monetary stock in May shrank to UAH 974.5 billion, or by 1.1%.
Since early 2015, the monetary base fell by 0.8% and stock grew by 1.9%, the regulator said.

Government to increase second- and third-class rail ticket prices
KIEV, July 12 – The Infrastructure Ministry under an initiative of Ukrzaliznytsia has decided to increase the price of third- and second-class train tickets in Ukraine by 10% in July and by another 10% in October, which will allow receiving UAH 270 million in 2013 and will partially reduce the unprofitability of passenger transportation and send some funds to the overhaul of wagons. |
