Ukraine working with European Commission to remove border blockades

KYIV, Feb 14 – Ukraine is working with the European Commission to create a mechanism that would make the blockade unacceptable, Deputy Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Serhiy Derkach said at the Global Outlook: A Winning Vision conference organized by the European Business Association (EBA) on Wednesday.


Ukraine’s defense sector may grow 6-fold in 2024 after tripling in 2023

Ukraine’s imports of goods up 6.3% on year in January 2024

KYIV, Feb 15 – Imports of goods to Ukraine in January 2024 increased by 6.3% compared to the same period last year – from $4.8 billion to $5.1 billion, while exports – by 9.7%, from $3.1 billion to $3.4 billion, the State Customs Service reported on Friday.

According to published information, in January 2024, trade turnover amounted to $8.5 billion, which is 7% more than the same period in 2023, and the negative balance of trade in goods, despite the rapid growth of exports, remained at $1.7 billion.


Ukrainian businesses improve expectations assessment over next 6 months
