Ukraine’s power output up 2% on year in January-March

KYIV. April 12 – Ukraine’s power output increased by 2% (877 million kWh) compared to the same period of 2018, to 43.666 billion kWh in January through March, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry reported.

Turkey's Turkcell says Ukrainian cell venture to report profits by 2020

ISTANBUL, April 12 – Turkey's Turkcell Group, the parent company of Ukraine's lifecell mobile communications operator, seeks to start seeing profit from the Ukrainian company by 2020, Chairman of Turkcell's Board and Independent Board Member Ahmet Akca told Ukrainian reporters at a meeting in the central office of the company in Istanbul.


Ukrnaftoburinnia reports 50% increase in gas output in January-March

KYIV, April 12 – One of the largest private gas production companies in Ukraine – private Ukrnaftoburinnia in January-March 2019 saw a 50% rise in gas production year-over-year, to 166 million cubic meters (mcm), and a 49% rise in oil and condensate production, to 21,000 tonnes, the company's press service has reported.

KYIV, April 10 – Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko is holding negotiations with the owner of the largest theme park in Germany – Europa-park – on attracting investment in the creation of the similar park in the capital of Ukraine, the press service of the mayor has reported.
