Investors show interest in buying state-owned alcohol producers

KYIV, Aug 13 - Investors have so far contributed funds for the privatization of 18 objects of the state enterprise Ukrspyrt, 15 of them have already signed acts of acceptance and transfer of property, 12 objects remain in the management of the state enterprise, head of Ukrspyrt Serhiy Bleskun wrote on Facebook.


Ukraine reduces exports of power by 24.1% on year in January-July

KYIV, Aug 13 - Ukraine in January-July 2021 reduced electricity exports by 24.1% (by 678.2 million kWh) compared to the same period in 2020, to 2.131 billion kWh, according to the data of Ukrenergo.


Ukrtransnafta doubles supply of oil to domestic refineries in July

KYIV, Aug 13 - Ukrtransnafta in July 2021 doubled oil supplies to refineries in Ukraine compared to July last year, to 339,900 tons, the company told Interfax-Ukraine.

Supplies to Kremenchuk oil refinery (Ukrtatnafta) last month amounted to 302,500 tons, which is 2.2 times more than in July 2020 (134,800 tons).


USDA improves forecast for Ukraine’s wheat exports in 2021-2022 season

KYIV, Aug 13 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in the report for August improved the forecast for the export of Ukrainian wheat in the 2021/2022 marketing year (MY, July-June) by 2.5 million tons compared to the forecast in July, to 23.5 million tons.


DTEK to import 320,000mt of coal from Polish firm Bogdanka

KYIV, Aug 13 - DTEK Energy has signed an agreement with the Polish coal mining company Bogdanka for the supply of 320,000 tons of coal from August 2021 to January 2022 inclusive, the company said in a press release.

KYIV, Aug 15 – Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEE) has debarred SOCAR Ukraine Trade House LLC and Central Gas Supplying Company from the bids for an attempt of manipulation of gas prices, the exchange reported on its website.
