Government okays Antonov withdrawal from Russian joint venture

KIEV, Sept. 14 – The government has accepted the proposal by the Ukrainian Economic Development Ministry and the state aircraft maker Antonov over the latter's withdrawal from its Moscow based joint venture with Russia's United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).


Group DF reports progress in Azot and Rivneazot launch dispute

KIEV, Sept. 15 – Dmytro Firtash's Group DF said that serious progress has been made in reaching a compromise with Gaz Ukrainy on launching public joint-stock company Azot (Cherkasy) and public joint-stock company Rivneazot.


70% gas royalty rate is hurting Ukrgazvydobuvannia, chairman says

KIEV, Sept. 15 – The retention of the gas royalty rate for Ukrgazvydobuvannia at 70% and the decline of oil prices to lower than $40 per barrel would result in gas production by the company in 2016 falling to 12.4 billion cubic meters (bcm) compared to the 14.5 bcm projected for 2015, Ukrgazvydobuvannia Chairman Oleh Prokhorenko said.


Official: Eastern conflict has caused UAH4.4 billion budget shortfall
