Ukraine to hike oil transit fee for Russian oil shipped to Europe

KYIV, Dec 27 – The tariff for oil transit through Ukraine to Hungary and Slovakia will increase by 18.3% from January 1, 2023, from EUR 11.5 per ton to EUR13.6 per ton, a government source told Interfax-Ukraine.


Ukraine to tap reserves to pay UAH 300-mln coal miners wage arrears

KYIV, Dec 23 - The Cabinet of Ministers intends to allocate UAH 300 million from the budget reserve fund to pay off wage arrears to the employees of state coal mining enterprises.

The corresponding protocol instruction to the Ministry of Economy was adopted at a government meeting on Thursday.


Ukraine’s economy likely to grow 2.8% on year in 2021: Oxford Economics

KYIV, Dec 23 - Oxford Economics has worsened expectations of real GDP growth in Ukraine in 2022 to 2.8% compared to 3.4% in the November forecast, by the end of 2021 it expects the country's economy to grow by 3.1% of GDP, as follows from materials of the December forecast, which are available to Interfax-Ukraine.


Ukrainian ag firms seek loan to offset high gas prices for mineral fertilizer
