Ukraine’s to boost grain harvest 14.1% to 80-mln mt in 2019

KYIV, Oct. 15 - Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Dmytro Sologub has said that grain harvest in Ukraine this year could reach 80 milion tons compared with 70.1 million tons in 2018.

Romania confirms 4.1-mln cu m/day capacity on gas supplies to Ukraine

KYIV, Oct 11 – Romania has confirmed the provision of guaranteed capacities for gas delivery to Ukraine in the amount of 4.1 million cubic meters a day from January 1, 2020, Director General of Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine LLC (TSO of Ukraine) Serhiy Makohon said.


Khmelnytsky's group to expand Kyiv Sikorsky International Airport terminal

KYIV, Oct 11 – Wealthy entrepreneur Vasyl Khmelnytsky's UFuture Group plans to complete the renovation and expansion of Terminal A, which is the main terminal of Kyiv Sikorsky International Airport (Zhuliany), from 14,000 to 23,500 square meters by May 2019, the project is estimated at UAH 630 million.


Ukraine’s nuclear regulator extends operation life of Zaporizhia reactor

KYIV, Oct 11 – The State Nuclear Regulation Inspectorate of Ukraine at a meeting on Thursday extended the operation life of reactor four of Zaporizhia nuclear power plant (NPP) for the post-project period after the safety inspection.


DTEK Energy boosts coal output 4.6% year-on-year in January-September

KYIV, Oct 11 - DTEK Energy, Ukraine’s largest coal producer, boosted coal production 4.6% year-on-year in January-September 2018, to 17.7 million tons, the company's press service has said.

In September alone 2.2 million tons was produced, 22% more than in September 2017.

KYIV, Oct 11 - Money supply in Ukraine in September 2018 grew by 1.2%, to UAH 1.249 trillion, according to the respective preliminary data of monetary statistics published on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
