NBU cuts rates to 13.5% to stop to hryvnia’s rapid appreciation

KYIV, Dec 12 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) cut refinancing rate to 13.5% starting on Friday, down from 15.5% in response to rapidly appreciating hryvnia and low inflation pressure, the bank said in a statement.
