22.09.2024 Ukraine’s wheat harvest amounts to 22-mln mt in 2024-2025 marketing season
KYIV, Sept 18 – The wheat harvest in Ukraine in 2024 amounted to 22 million tons, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food agreed with producers and traders that exports will not exceed 16.2 million tons, which guarantees the availability of 6 million tons of this crop necessary for domestic consumption.

22.09.2024 Ukraine's GDP grows 3.5% on year in August, accelerating from July
KYIV, Sept 18 – Ukraine's gross domestic product (GDP) growth in August 2024 compared to August of the previous year was 3.5% [±1%], which is better than the June and July figures of 1.1% and 2.7%, respectively, but lower than the April and May figures of 4.3% and 3.7%, according to preliminary assessments released by the Ministry of Economy on Wednesday.

19.09.2024 Ukraine may rely on its ow natural gas production this winter: Naftogaz
KYIV, Sept 17 – Naftogaz Ukrainy has increased its natural gas production this year and intends to survive the winter using only Ukrainian gas, having a reserve of gas purchased abroad using funds from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Board Chairman Oleksiy Chernyshov said on the sidelines of the 20th annual YES meeting organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in Kyiv.

19.09.2024 EM working on plan to provide Ukraine with up to EUR 40-bln by year’s end
KYIV, Sept 17 – The countries of the European Union are planning the possibility of providing Ukraine with EUR 20 billion to EUR 40 billion by the end of this year as an alternative to the plan announced by the G7 in the summer to allocate EUR 50 billion in 2025 from income from frozen Russian assets, the Financial Times reports, citing sources.

19.09.2024 ArcelorMittal may cut steel production in Ukraine, halt iron ore exports
KYIV, Sept 17 – ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) in Dnipropetrovsk region may further reduce steel production, halt iron ore supplies to China, and cut staff if negative market trends continue, according to the company's CEO, Mauro Longobardo, speaking at the European Business Association event "Global Outlook: Fostering Unity."
