Lawmaker sees foreign aid as main source of financing budget next year

10 out of 11 NBU policy committee members backed keeping rates unchanged

KYIV, Sept 30 – The vast majority – 10 out of 11 – members of the National Bank of Ukraine's (NBU) Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) supported keeping the key policy rate at 13% during a meeting on September 18, according to the committee's published discussion results. Hungary agrees to help Ukraine repair energy sector ahead of winter

EBRD approves EUR 50-mln loan to Kyivteploenergo for critical needs

KYIV, Sept 27 - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has approved a EUR 50 million loan to Kyivteploenergo for critical needs related to heating systems on Wednesday, September 25. According to a statement on the bank's website, the total project cost is EUR 55 million, with EUR 5 million provided as a grant by the EBRD Crisis Response Special Fund.
