Ukraine to build Westinghouse nuclear fuel technology line in 2026: Energoatom

KYIV, Oct 16 - A line for the production of nuclear fuel in Ukraine using the technology of the American company Westinghouse is planned to be built in 2026, agreements on the transfer of technology and the supply of equipment are currently being worked out in order to begin producing such fuel in 2027, said head of Energoatom Petro Kotin.

Russian missile kills 1, injures 16 in Mykolayiv

KYIV, Oct 15 - Officials in Ukraine’s Mykolaiv region said Tuesday a Russian missile attack killed at least one person and injured 16 others.

Mykolaiv Governor Vitaliy Kim said on Telegram the attack damaged an infrastructure facility, restaurant and shopping areas, as well as residential buildings, VOA reported.

France cuts military aid to Ukraine to EUR 2-bln from EUR 3-bln on deficit
